Alcoa Volunteers Spruce Up High School in La Coruña

La Coruña -- January 23, 2008 -- Alcoa volunteers from the Alcoa primary plant in La Coruña turned the electrical workshop of Calvo Sotelo High School into a safer and useful place, where students will carry on learning about electricity issues.

First of all, Alcoa volunteers’ unplugged electrical connections as well as organized the store room. Finally, when the work was finished, they planted several trees in the garden, following Alcoa's goal to plant up to ten million trees before 2020.
 
IES Calvo Sotelo is a high school founded in 1956 and whose speciality is occupational training in electric, graphic design, carpentry and welding areas.
