	Alcoa European Mill Products announces conversion price increase for common alloy products

	Geneva - June 3, 2008 - Alcoa European Mill Products (EMP) today announced a 20 Euro/Tons conversion price increase for common alloy products effective for new orders placed after May 30th, 2008 and shipments scheduled on July 1st 2008 and later. This is necessary, because of the important cost increases EMP is facing on energy and tansportation. The price increase will effect all the products belonging to the Commercial Rolled Product Division: Coils and Sheets Shate Tread Plate Slitted coils General Engineering Plate All existing orders and firm agreement confirmed before May 30th, 2008 will be honoured.
