Regina Hitchery

Regina Hitchery joined Alcoa in 2005 as vice president of Human Resources responsible for supporting 97,000 employees in the 34 countries in which Alcoa operates.
Previously she was senior vice president of Human Resources and Group Services for London-based Invensys plc and worked in human resources at United Technologies Corporation for 26 years. While at UTC she held a number of positions including vice president, HR for Carrier Corporation worldwide and vice president, HR for Otis Elevator-Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Earlier in her career Regina also held senior level HR positions for UTC's Sikorsky Aircraft and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
Regina graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English from Elms College and also holds an MA in Anglo Irish Studies from University College Dublin and an MS in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
She is a member of the Human Resources Roundtable Group, the Cowdrick Group, the Human Resources Policy Association and the Conference Board's HR Advisory Council. She served as a commissioner for the Commission on Medicolegal Investigations in the State of Connecticut for six years and is a past member of the Work/Life Council of The Conference Board. Regina was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Law from Elms College, has been honored with the Normal Leeds United Way Outstanding Volunteer Award and was inducted into the NYC YWCA Academy of Achievers.
Regina was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 20, 1949. She and her husband, Joseph Hitchery are the parents of four children.
