Animal Attraction ... Monkeys, elephants and butterflies in construction advertisements? Tired of the same old building shots seen in so many building and construction ads, Alcoa Architectural Products (AAP) is using the innovative approach of incorporating animals into ads that feature its products. The eye-catching photos highlight the unique qualities of AAP's product line while the ads create brand awareness. For example, an ad featuring Reynobond® Natural Metal Composites features a butterfly fluttering around pieces of Reynobond that are shaped as wings. "Naturally beautiful," the ad reads. "Just one of the many strengths of Alcoa Architectural Products' family of Reynobond Natural Metal Composites." Other ads feature the rear shot of an elephant to promote that Reynobond XXL is available in wide panels and a chameleon to highlight all of the color choices available for coatings. The ads, which can be seen on Alcoa.com, have been so popular that customers call and ask for products according to which animal is in the ad. AAP also gives away stuffed animals at trade shows to further drive home the branding message. To see more of the ads, click here. For more information, contact Samuel Chastain.
