Boeing Recognizes Huck's On-Time Record as 100th C-17 Rolls Out
CARSON, California (US) -- September 20 -- Today, Mr. Chuck Agne, Director of Materiel at Boeing Long Beach presented to Mr. Michael Todaro, Huck’s VP/GM of the Carson Aerospace Fastener Division with an award recognizing Huck’s contribution on the C-17 Globemaster III. Approximately 200 Huck Carson employees were present. Mr. Agne stated that Huck has supported the C-17 since 1982 and is one of only two suppliers in the LA Basin being recognized for their on time delivery, quality and relentless commitment to Boeing.

Boeing is celebrating their 100th C-17, scheduled to be rolled out with an October delivery to the U.S. Air Force. “For this 100th plane, Boeing is celebrating each major stage of assembly. About 35 events are planned, along with celebrations with each of the C-17’s top 30 suppliers.” We’re proud of Huck’s contribution. Today’s event is important because it illustrates how important Huck is in delivering quality parts and systems on time, said Mr. Agne.

There are approximately 423,000 Huck titanium threaded pins and 241,000 Huck titanium Lockbolts and collars used to assemble each C-17 Globemaster III.
